Fund For Women Names Molly Giordano 2022-2024 Vice Chair
The Fund for Women (FFW) at the Delaware Community Foundation is pleased to announce the selection of Molly Giordano as the incoming Vice Chair for Fund for Women.
Molly Giordano is the Executive Director of the Delaware Art Museum. She has worked at the Museum for more than a decade in successive leadership roles until assuming the top position in 2021. Prior to working at the Delaware Art Museum, Molly worked at West End Neighborhood House and was part of Governor Jack Markell’s campaign and transition team. She is the President of the Delaware Arts Alliance and is on the board of the Forum for Executive Women and the Governor’s Tourism Advisory Board.
Molly became a Fund for Women Founder in 2013. She has served on the Board as the past Governance Chair of the Fund for Women and has been active with the Young Founders and New Castle County Development Committees. Molly’s past contributions to the Fund for Women demonstrate her highly valued skills in development and fundraising, strategic planning and innovative leadership. In 2020 she was awarded the Fund for Women Driving Force Award along with Gigi Gaul. This award recognizes Founders who go above and beyond to help Fund for Women achieve their Mission. Molly will begin her term as Vice Chair on July 1, 2022, as current Vice Chair, Pam Cornforth becomes the Chair of Fund for Women.
Molly has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware in Political Science and Journalism; a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania; and a master’s degree in Creative Writing from Rosemont College. She lives in Wilmington with her husband, attorney Phillip Giordano, and their two young children.
