DCF Drops Season 2 of How to (Not) Kill Your Community Podcast April 28
Guests include Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester and Sussex Habitat for Humanity CEO Kevin Gilmore
The Delaware Community Foundation (DCF), a top 100 community foundation nationwide and one of the largest charitable organizations in the state, today announced Season 2 of its How to (Not) Kill Your Community podcast. New episodes are available on April 28 through Apple, Spotify, YouTube and other outlets, and will continue to roll out in two-week intervals through the month of June.
Hosted by DCF President & CEO Stuart Comstock Gay, How to (Not) Kill Your Community features Delaware experts speaking on ways to sustain communities for the long-haul, tackling issues like high recidivism rates and declining volunteerism. Season 2 goes deeper into the challenges communities face and innovative ideas for solving them.
“The landscape has changed a lot since we filmed Season 1 in early 2025,” said Comstock-Gay. “Communities, along with the people and organizations that serve them, are navigating budget cuts, increased immigration enforcement, and shifting political dynamics. Our guests this season are stepping up to meet these challenges and generously sharing what they’ve learned.”
