Erin Gruwell Announced as 2023 Building Opportunity Keynote Speaker

Gruwell is a teacher, author and activist who has been fighting for social justice for over two decades. As our featured speaker, Gruwell will lead a conversation with hundreds of Delawareans of hope and possibility where she will encourage us “to stand up, speak up and speak out.”

Her latest book, Dear Freedom Writer, is also going to the featured book for the 2023 Building Opportunity Book Circle discussions.
