Rebecca Klug Joins the DCF as Marketing and Communications Associate
Klug previously worked as communications director for the Ministry of Caring, a Delaware nonprofit dedicated to serving people experiencing poverty and homelessness. Prior to that, Klug served as director of marketing for The Delaware Contemporary (formerly the Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts) and as communications specialist for the Delaware Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
Klug will develop and implement communication strategies to inform, inspire and engage the community foundation’s various audiences.
“The DCF is a leader in building diverse opportunities for all Delawareans,” Klug said. “I’m excited to bring my passion for print and digital storytelling to the DCF’s mission to engage communities and empower giving.”
Before moving to Delaware 10 years ago, Klug worked in publications for Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc., an archaeology and historic architecture firm in Lexington, Ky., and for the anthropology journal American Ethnologist. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and anthropology from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, and a master’s in anthropology from the University of Iowa.
“We’re happy to welcome Rebecca in this role,” DCF President and CEO Stuart Comstock-Gay said. “Her comprehensive marketing and communications experience will help us strengthen and increase our philanthropic engagement in Delaware communities.”
