Alonna Berry Named to the DCF Board of Directors
The Delaware Community Foundation (DCF) welcomes Alonna Berry to serve on its Board of Directors. Berry joins the Board as the Governor’s Appointee by Governor John Carney and will serve a six-year term.
“Alonna will be a great addition to our Board,” said DCF President & CEO Stuart Comstock-Gay. “She has demonstrated tremendous commitment to serving the Delaware community in her career and we are excited for her to bring her expertise to the table.”
Berry is the senior director at Social Contract, leading the equity and impact practice. She is also the founder of the Bryan Allen Stevenson School of Excellence. She previously worked for the State of Delaware and the Delaware Department of Education. Berry serves on the Syracuse University National Alumni Board of Directors and previously was the Vice President of the Milton Historical Society as well as former President of the Delaware Center for Justice.
Berry earned her bachelor’s degree in writing and Rhetoric from Syracuse University and a master’s degree in management and organizational leadership from Wilmington University. She currently resides in Milton, Delaware.
