Auburn Heights Preserve Fund

Formerly the Auburn Heights Preserve, Auburn Valley State Park  was officially added to the Delaware State Parks system in 2018 and is Delaware’s newest state park.

The park is comprised of the lands once held by the Marshall family – pioneers of paper milling and vulcanized fiber manufacturing, and prolific industrialists of the 19th century. The park includes the family’s Queen Anne-style home and estate grounds, the Marshall Brothers Paper Mill, the National Vulcanized Fiber plant, the Marshall Steam Museum and nearby Oversee Farm.

If you’d like to donate by check, make it payable to “Delaware Community Foundation.” Be sure to write the name of the fund in the memo line, and mail it to DCF at PO Box 1636, Wilmington, DE 19899.
