The DCF has hundreds of funds that benefit thousands of nonprofits – but have you heard about our versatile, forward-focused Delaware Now & Forever Fund? It allows the DCF to respond quickly to major challenges and opportunities in every corner of our state. 

For instance, in 2020, we were able to help raise and inject more than $5 million into Delaware communities when COVID-19 hit. Since last year, our Meet the Moment initiative has been offering grants and trainings to nonprofits impacted by federal budget cuts.

There are always needs in our communities. Some we can too easily identify – literacy, homelessness, food insecurity, community revitalization, early childhood education, workforce development and more. Others – like the pandemic – we can’t see coming.
