Kate is a Senior Advisor for Strategy & Impact for the DCF, and Executive Director of Healthy Communities Delaware, a network of communities and investors working together to improve health, well-being and equity across Delaware. She facilitates investment in community-led efforts to improve the Vital Conditions for Well-Being with the goal of all people and places thriving–no exceptions. Kate has worked with community coalitions, out-of-school-time providers, early childhood education, and community-based organizations, and her main interest is in systems change to advance health equity and social justice. Kate lives in Wilmington with her husband, two sons and two dogs, and enjoys hiking on Delaware’s trails, watching her kids play sports, and traveling.
