Delaware Community Foundation Announces New Specific Interest Grants

Delaware nonprofits are invited to apply now for the Delaware Community Foundation’s Specific Interest Grants. The deadline is 5 p.m., Jan. 6, 2023. 

From the performing arts to animal welfare, there are a variety of “field of interest” funds at the DCF that provide a structured opportunity for eligible nonprofits, whose missions align with specific areas of activity or service, to apply for grants. The DCF Grants Committee will review and evaluate Field of Interest grant program applications and make recommendations to the DCF Board for approval. 

For FY23 grant applications are being accepted for programs to support: 

  • Small grants for arts statewide. 
  • Fulfillment of terminally ill children’s wishes. 
  • Animals and animal welfare. 

Interested applicants should review the Specific Interest Grant Guidelines linked at delcf.org for detailed information about grant eligibility and parameters. Applicants will be notified of decisions in February. For more information on these and other grants, visit delcf.org/grants.
